Building a Circular Community – Grant Scheme 2025
Clare County Council is now accepting applications for the Building a Circular Community Grant Scheme 2025.

This initiative supports local action on sustainability, encouraging communities to play an active role in reducing waste and promoting circular practices.
The scheme will support community-led projects that focus on reducing single-use foodware such as disposable cups, plates, and cutlery, separating food waste from general and recycling waste streams, and raising awareness around fast fashion and the benefits of reuse.
This grant is open to small to medium-sized community project proposals from Tidy Towns groups, Community Development Associations, Green Schools, Youth Groups, Green Clubs, and other community and voluntary organisations.
Funding of up to €1,500 per group is available from a total fund of €18,000. Only one application will be accepted per group. The deadline for submission is 5 p.m. on 2nd May 2025, and project completion reports must be submitted by 3rd November 2025.
